A Future Beyond Prison
Unlocking Our Futures exists to ensure that every person who has experienced prison has the support, skills, and opportunities they need to build a stable and thriving future.
Supporting dignity, opportunity, and a future beyond prison.
Supporting people leaving prison in NSW to rebuild their lives through opportunity, employment, and community connection.
Unlocking Our Futures believes that people leaving prison deserve meaningful opportunities to rebuild their lives. We support successful reintegration by creating pathways to employment, stability, and community connection for people leaving prison in NSW.
This work has lasting impact. By demonstrating what successful reintegration looks like, we help shift public understanding of life after prison and show that when people are supported to rebuild their lives, communities become safer and stronger.
Building Futures Beyond Prison
People leaving prison face significant barriers to rebuilding their lives — from housing and employment to reconnecting with community. Unlocking Our Futures helps people overcome those barriers. Through practical and trauma-responsive support, employment pathways, and community connection, we help people leaving prison in NSW rebuild their lives with dignity and opportunity. Our programs focus on the foundations that make successful reintegration possible.
Preparing for life after incarceration can feel overwhelming. Pathways Program provides individual and group case management support to help people navigate services, rebuild stability, and successfully reintegrate into the community..
Facing incarceration can be a stressful and uncertain time. KeepSafe Storage protects personal belongings and vital documents so people can focus on rebuilding their lives when they return to the community.
Meaningful work is one of the most powerful pathways to rebuilding a life after prison. Our social enterprise, Employment Works, provides real employment opportunities that support stability, dignity, and independence.
